As a business benefit, learners will find that their increased understanding of report processing, formulas, custom functions and subreports will help them make more effective report design decisions and create more efficient reports.

Course Audience

This course is designed for report designers, who have taken CR: Report Design I – Fundamentals of Report Design and CR: Report Design II – Business Reporting Solutions and who are responsible for creating and distributing reports.

Prerequisite Knowledge/Experience

In this course you will be working intensively with Crystal Reports. To successfully understand the content and complete the activities, you must already have:

  • Knowledge of Windows conventions
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience using a web browser
  • Basic database concepts
  • Knowledge of concepts taught in the Associate level course

Note: Topics on Report Design III - Report Processing Strategies build on concepts from Report Design I – Fundamentals of Report Design and Report Design II – Business Reporting Solutions, therefore it is important that learners have a solid understanding of the concepts taught at that level.
