What’s the difference between SharePoint Services 3.0 and SharePoint Server 2007?
Alto offers two SharePoint administration classes that on the surface sound very similar yet are different enough that you should attend both. The decision depends on your role in your organization and the way it will be using SharePoint. SharePoint Services is the “free” version of SharePoint. SharePoint Portal is the more fully-featured, enterprise-level product. While there is a small amount of topical overlap between the courses, you’ll find each course addresses different aspects of the product.
Course MOC-5060 (Services) or equivalent experience is a prerequisite for MOC-5061 (Portal Server).
